Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has said the world is now seeing the real Christian Pulisic whom the club splashed £57.6 million to sign from Borussia Dortmund in 2019.
The American star who endured a tough start to his career at Chelsea is gradually becoming a top member of the club.
Christian Pulisic followed up with his top performance against Aston Vila over the weekend with another good game against City on Thursday to the delight of manager.
And Frank Lampard who was full of praise for the 21-year-old attacker said the player is gradually settling down at Chelsea.
‘I’m delighted for Christian (Pulisic), he really impressed me tonight.
‘He’s a really talented player and I think we are seeing the real him now, because he’s had a tough start to life at Chelsea with injuries. But he was brilliant tonight.
‘Christian came in last summer, he didn’t get a break when he came in the team and played really well then he got an injury.
‘I wanted to see if he could bring it in these kinds of games and he brought it.’
Christian Pulisic has now scored in two consecutive games since the Premier League resumed.
